Imbler Real Estate, Imbler Homes for Sale

The name Imber came from a gentleman named Jesse Imber.  Jesse gave ground for the city from his farm ground.  The city was designed with a wide Main Street as the market road to the Depot for the Union Pacific Railroad Line which ran through the town.  Imbler at one time had a flourmill, several sawmills, fruit packing plant and box factory plant.  Apple orchards surrounded Imbler during its early days and were a big part of the economy.  As time changed the apple orchards were taken out to make room for a new agriculture product, Grass Seed.  Grass Seed is a export throughout the United States and is to other Countries.  Imbler area farmers are well known for growing premium grass seed crops.  Imlber has not grown of the years and remains a small rural town with strong neighborhood relations.

Imbler is about 12 miles to La Grande
