Buffalo Peak Golf Course is a par 72 18-hole course owned and managed by Union County, Oregon.  This beautiful course is located in Northeast Oregon and is located on the edge of the small Eastern Oregon community of Union, just sixteen miles southeast of La Grande from Interest 84.  If you are traveling from Boise you can be playing golf in just 2 & 1/2 hours of driving time and if you are traveling for the Tri-Cities in Eastern Washington you can be playing golf in 2 & ½ hours driving time also.

Buffalo Peak offers a variety with its elevated tees, undulating landscape and lake and stream water hazard holes.  Low handicappers will find a challenge from the back tees at 6500 yards.  Others can enjoy a round from the 4500 yard distance.  The course also offers a professional practice range.  Highlights of the course include a dramatic landscape with views of the Grande Ronde Valley and surrounding Wallowa and Blue Mountain ranges, ponds, and fountains.  The best views of the beautiful Grande Ronde Valley are from the Number Three and Four hole.
